Many manufacturers and publishers (Cisco, Microsoft, etc.) are setting up a certification program to evaluate the skills of their users or partners and offer individual certifications.

As a Pearson VUE and Prometric test center, JCA covers the main certifications provided by the major players of the IT sector and enables you to obtain your individual theoretical certification in a high-quality professional environment. The certifications issued are recognized around the world.

For each of the following vendors, we present a concise overview of certifications and the courses that help you prepare for them:

The computer-based exams consist of a series of multiple-choice questions and situation scenarios compiled for the occasion which aim to evaluate the knowledge acquired. Consult the manufacturer's website to check:

• the exact reference and language of the examination. Most exams are only available in English.
• the number of questions and the duration of the exam.
• the minimum score that must be reached
• the term of validity of the certificate awarded if you pass the exam

The prices of the tests are published on the Pearson VUE or Prometric websites when a test is ordered or on a simple request made to JCA. Payment is only possible by credit card or prepaid vouchers. 

Register using one of the following methods:

• online, directly at Pearson VUE or Prometric
• by contacting JCA by telephone only

Whichever method you choose you will be asked to provide the following information:

• The exact reference of the test
• The date of the test, which you can choose at will from the dates still available (opening hours: from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
• Your identification number (only for those who have already passed an exam by the manufacturer or publisher of the test)
• Details of your credit card or the reference of the vouchers.

Present yourself at the JCA reception on the date of the test, preferably quarter of an hour before the exam, with two documents proving your identity and containing your name and signature. One of these documents should also contain a photograph (e.g. your identity card and your driver's license). Please note the following few points:

• certain manufacturers (currently Cisco and VMware) require a digital photograph of the applicant's face so that they can include the photo in the certificate . Your signature is also digitized.
• you will be asked to leave any personal belongings (mobile phone, handbag, briefcase, etc.) and your coat or jacket in a secure place at the JCA secretariat.
• the examination room is under camera surveillance.
• You will find out your exam results on a document printed at the end of the test. If you have passed, the manufacturer or publisher will send you the official certificate directly.

Cancellations, changes

Following the same method as used to register, please contact Pearson VUE or Prometric 24 hours in advance to notify us of any changes.
