Cisco Certified Network Associate - Exams

Cisco's popular entry-level certification, the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) may be what you need. It is the world's most popular entry-level certification in Networking.

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size route and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. CCNA curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills. This curriculum also includes (but is not limited to) the use of these protocols: IP, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP),  Routing Information Protocol Version 2 (RIPv2),VLANs, Ethernet, access control lists (ACLs).

Option 1: One exam

Advantages: Study once, pay once (only for students with enough prescience).

  • After passing the composite exam 640-802 you will be awarded the CCNA certificate

Option 2: Two exams
It is also possible to get your CCNA certificate in two phases.
Advantages: Split up the theory, step by step (for students without any prescience).

  • After passing the exam 640-822 after the ICND1 course, you will be awareded the CCENT certificate
