IPv6

IPv6 is currently actively promoted by RIR’s and governments. New operating systems and equipment ship already with IPv6 enabled by default. As a result, most networks have IPv6 running, often without their network administrators knowing it. The "IPv6 Explained" course shows you how to understand, see and manage IPv6 traffic.

DNS

The importance of the DNS protocol is very often underestimated. Voice over IP is since long an established technology. In this training, the main principles and concepts of VoIP are treated, next to an overview of different individual applications that are becoming part of a unified communication portfolio.

Video is more and more being used for different applications: streaming, surveillance, conferencing, … Next to an overview of these IP-centric video solutions also: the most used formats, the structure of an IP network, different camera types, signaling and management solutions are investigated.

Wireless & Mobile

Wireless LAN explained

Without a doubt, wireless technology plays an important part in today’s networks. This course gives an overview of the different standards, their pros and cons. Attention is also paid to important applications such as location based application and voice and video over wireless. Obviously, security is also an important topic of the training.
