When your organization has purchased a Microsoft software volume licensing agreement, you may be eligible to use Microsoft Software Assurance Training Vouchers (SATV vouchers) and get FREE training. Many organizations are entitled to these vouchers without knowing: so be sure to check it out.

How to activate

1. Software Assurance Benefit activation

First, your organization's Software Assurance Benefits Manager activates the ‘training vouchers benefit' through the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC).The number of days given to an organization varies by product and by the number of qualifying software licenses with Software Assurance. To be eligible for training vouchers, you must have a minimum number of licenses covered by Software Assurance; this number varies by licensing program.

2. Training voucher activation

The benefits manager then assigns training days and associated training vouchers to designated individuals. The courses that are eligible for training vouchers and the number of vouchers that you should order can be found on http://www.microsoft.com/learning/sa-vl-catalog/savldefault.aspx

Additional information

• Courses delivered in an accelerated format require voucher days equivalent to the number of course days for the normal course delivery.
• The right to access training vouchers expires with your Software Assurance coverage. If you create a training voucher and reserve it with a qualified Learning Solutions partner before the expiration of your Software Assurance coverage, the voucher remains valid for 180 days after the date it was created. Any training voucher not reserved with a Learning Solutions partner before the end of your Software Assurance coverage will expire and be forfeited.
